Energy Program
In the 21st Century, energy and technology will play a critical role in Tribes’ ability to effectively govern, exercise their inherent sovereignty, and advance economic self-sufficiency. Now is the time to bring tribes, utilities, and industry together to collaborate, partner and advance beneficial opportunities.
Climate Change
The Climate Crisis is changing our ancestral lands and impacting our livelihoods. Our Climate Change Project provides guidance for developing and implementing actions for responding and adapting to the impacts of climate. We provide support for acquiring data, information, partners, and / or funding.
Natural Resources
The member tribes of ATNI have a variety of environmental/human health needs which demand policy-level attention. They include but are not limited to Tribal life ways/subsistence issues, water quality, non-point source pollution impacts, air quality, solid and hazardous waste, superfund sites, climate change impacts, and endangerment of treaty protected resources.
