In 1953 farsighted tribal leaders in the Northwest formed the Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians, and dedicated it to tribal sovereignty and self-determination. Let us collect and share the stories of our tribal leaders to bring forward their voice, concerns, opportunities as they set a path forward for healthy and strong communities and nations.
