In 2017, the Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians, Portland State University’s Institute for Tribal Government, United South and Eastern Tribes, Northwest Climate Adaptation Science Center, and U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs collaborated to offer Tribal Climate Camp (TCC) to support teams of tribal leaders, climate change coordinators, planners, and program managers to build skills, gather information, and develop tribal policy needed to address climate change impacts.
