The Affiliated Tribes of NW Indians seeks applicants for two full-time Climate Fellows. Apply today.
Formed in 1953, the Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians (ATNI) is a nonprofit organization representing 57 Northwest tribal governments from Oregon, Idaho, Washington, southeast Alaska, Northern California and Western Montana. The ATNI Climate Fellow will conduct Tribal climate planning research and review regional GHG policy and other key climate vulnerability assessments. This may include, but is not limited to, outreach and collaboration across other member organizations to develop and share best practices, trainings, and other resources focused on climate and environmental justice issues. Additionally, the Fellow would be connected to and could work in collaboration with the University of Oregon’s Tribal Climate Change Project.
Enrolled Tribal citizens are strongly encouraged to apply.
